Person-level meta-analysis of ambulatory blood pressure in 14 population cohorts studies supports 2024 ESC Guidelines.
To evaluate the use of percentage time of blood pressure (BP) within range (PTTR) as a metric reflecting blood pressure control, The PubMed database was searched usingg as terms: (((blood pressure [Title/Abstract]) OR (hypertension [Title/Abstract])) AND ((time in target range [Title/Abstract]) OR (time in therapeutic [Title/Abstract]) OR (target range [Title/Abstract])). The search identified 308 articles published in English between 1991 and 2024 up to 30 May 2024. Of the 308 articles, based on the information in the abstracts, 27 were found to be relevant, read in detail, and summarised.
